Therapy Practice

I provide individual therapy to adults from a liberation-informed trauma lens at the group practice Liberation-Based Therapy.

Liberation psychology considers the impacts of power and oppression on mental and emotional wellbeing.

Trauma theory understands distressing emotions and behaviors as adaptation to the trauma we have experienced - the focus is on what happened to us and how we responded, not what’s wrong with us. Specific modalities I draw from include:

  • attachment theory

  • Internal Family Systems

  • Sensorimotor

  • EMDR

I specialize in working with clients who identify as neurodivergent (ADHD/autistic/highly sensitive/gifted) and LGBTQ+.

Visit the practice’s website to learn more and schedule a session.
